Responsibilities

The REACH Program aims to improve access to quality and equitable primary healthcare services for Yazidi communities by addressing gaps in medical care. 

 

The data entry clerk main job is to manage the day-to-day upload of patient files to the Data Management System and M&E reporting data for program.  This role also includes assisting the Mobile Medical Team in admission during triage at the PHCCs. This position is administrative and will require good knowledge of computer systems, excel, and charting. The data entry clerk is key in the team as ensures file organization and high data quality to support program monitoring, reporting, and decision-making. They might need to do any other tasks assigned to them by Samaritan’s Purse and always act kindly and respectfully towards the community, reflecting a dedicated mindset for helping those in need.

 

Job Duties:

1) Serve staff and beneficiaries with humility, kindness, and generosity.

2) Input patient records into the health information systems (DHIS2). Will be responsible for scanning paper forms and uploading them correctly.

3) Cross-check entries against paper forms registers. Flag inconsistencies, incomplete records, or anomalies and coordinate timely corrections.

4) Assist the Mobile Medical Teams in admission during the PHCC visits and maintain documentation archives per Samaritan’s Purse and DOH guidelines.

5) Ensure all information is kept confidential, clinical records must be kept securely. 

6) Maintain data integrity with periodic database maintenance.

7) Organizing, managing and creating reports for PM to analyze patient data. 

8) Collaborate with regular audits of patient data with PM and/or PC.

9) Complete any other administrative tasks for the REACH team requested by the PM

Education / Experience Needed

-Bachelor’s degree preferred

-Proven experience in administrative roles or similar positions.

– Experience in healthcare-related data entry, M&E exposure, or health informatics roles preferred.

– Knowledge or experience in medical terminology highly preferred.

-Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) 

-Strong organizational and multitasking skills

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills especially in English

 

LANGUAGE

– English, Arabic, and Kurdish are required
