The individual contractor will format technical notes, visually engaging and suitable for digital publication and print.

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Chief of DTL/STIDS, the individual contractor will: – Format and visually design three technical notes following UNCTAD branding and editorial standards – Incorporate visual elements such as charts, tables, icons and infographics as appropriate – Ensure consistency in layout, typography and visual identity across all three documents – Prepare outputs in editable InDesign and export-ready PDF formats.
Qualifications/special skills

High school diploma with special studies on graphic design or related fields is required. At least 4 years of responsible professional experience in cross-media communications, design and conception is required. Previous work experience in implementing communication and design activities, preferably with an emphasis in development issues is desirable.
Languages

Fluency oral and written in English is required.
